In winter term 2025/26 and summer term 2026, I am substituting the Professorship of Computational Mathematics at ACoM.
Research interests:
- Discontinuous Galerkin methods for conservation and balance laws, in particular for the Euler equations, the Navier-Stokes equations and the shallow water equations
- High order, conservative space discretization methods using summation-by-parts operators
- IMEX and multirate time integration
- Positivity preserving time integration methods
- Efficient shock capturing methods for DG schemes
